'Contact Ultimate Software' Issue for UKG
The below instructions are intended to resolve the following error when logging into UKG: An error has occurred. Please contact Ultimate Software for assistance. For other UKG issues, please submit a ticket or email tech_support@redlands.edu.
Step 1: Clear Your Browser Cookies
Firstly, we recommend clearing the cookies in your browser. When doing so, it is crucial to select the "for all time" option. This ensures that all cookies, not just the ones from the past week, are removed. Here are the instructions for different browsers:
Chrome: Visit Google Chrome Help for detailed steps on clearing cookies.
Safari: Users can refer to Apple Support for guidance.
Firefox: Find the necessary steps on Mozilla Support.
Edge: Please see Microsoft Support for instructions.
Step 2: Clear Your Browser's Cache
If clearing cookies doesn't fully resolve the issue, the next step is to clear your browser’s cache. Here’s how you can do this on various browsers:
Chrome:
Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner.
Navigate to More Tools > Clear Browsing Data.
Select "All time" or a specific time frame you wish to clear.
Check the boxes for "Cached images and files" and "Cookies".
Click on Clear Browsing Data.
Edge:
Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Choose What To Clear.
Select the data types you wish to clear.
Click Clear.
Firefox:
Click the hamburger menu in the upper right.
Go to Preferences/Options > Privacy & Security.
Select Clear Your Recent History, pick a time range, and the data types to clear.
Click Clear Now.
Safari for Mac:
Click the Safari menu and choose Clear History.
Select All History.
Click Clear History.
Step 3: Switch Browsers
If issues persist after clearing both cookies and cache, we recommend trying to access the site using a different browser. Chrome or Firefox are the preferred options for Windows or MacOS users.
