SCCM - How to Deploy an Image to a Computer Requirements: Older Dell computers may need to have the UEFI network stack enabledThis can be enabled via the BIOS under Network settings Newer Dell computers will need the storage controller set to AHCI instead of RAID Turn secure boot to OFF This can be done via the BIOS under Storage settings Instructions: Verify computer is off Power on computer and hit F12 to bring up One Time Boot Menu Select Ethernet (IPV4) or USB NIC (IPV4) depending on how the computer is connected Verify computer receives an IP and hit Enter when prompted If the computer does not receive an IP make sure the computer isn't already in Configuration Manager Search for it under \Assets and Compliance\Overview\Devices\All Desktop and Server Clients\ Use either the known computer name or MAC address of the ethernet port When the boot environment had loaded you will be prompted to input a password. See below for imaging password.Thurber@1969 Next you will need to select what image you want to deploy After selecting the deployment image you will see a prompt to input the computer name.
